Next Nutrition protects client private health information and abides by HIPAA and other privacy regulations. The Next Nutrition website has cyber security features, and as a licensed healthcare provider, your dietitian is ethically inclined to remain unbiased and noncommunicative with persons or entities outside of patient/client transactions for whom you approve release of information. As a client of Next Nutrition, your health information will not be shared with any other persons or entities unless you provide consent. As a client of Next Nutrition, your private health information will never be intentionally shared with any person other than another licensed medical provider and only at your request or with your permission. Health information sharing entities may include but are not limited to: insurance companies, payers, medical providers and practices and other HIPAA-covered entities. A HIPAA Release Form is provided as part of your registration packet in case circumstances present which indicate the need for your medical information to be shared. Your permission must be obtained for Next Nutrition to knowingly share any of your health-related information. You will be given, or have access to, a copy of Next Nutrition’s Notice of HIPAA Privacy Practices, which covers client and Next Nutrition obligations and rights with respect to HIPAA and protected health information.
