Next Nutrition LLC (“Next Nutrition”) provides one-on-one, personalized nutrition counseling and consulting services through one or more Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RD/RDN) in the state of Alabama. Counseling and consulting provided by an employee(s) or representative(s) of Next Nutrition begins with an assessment of your overall nutritional status to determine your nutritional needs. Next Nutrition’s assessment process and methods of practice are based on the Nutrition Care Process (NCP). The NCP is a systematic, evidence-based framework that nutrition and dietetics professionals use to provide individualized nutrition care. As a part of the nutrition assessment, you may be asked to provide recent relevant medical information that could make your nutrition plan more realistic for you (examples include recent lab work, weights, diet recalls/intake, medical conditions, medications, etc.).
After your assessment is complete, you and your dietitian will discuss how to proceed by developing a nutritional plan with personalized, attainable goals. To achieve the best results, you will need to be honest with your dietitian and actively work to implement recommendations into your everyday life in between meetings. A pillar of Next Nutrition is our client-focused approach, therefore we expect you to approach our partnership with an overall willingness and motivation to intentionally participate in your plan, as well as provide your dietitian with feedback so that we can help you better.
Next Nutrition does not dispense medical advice, perform medical procedures, nor prescribe treatment. Rather, we provide education to enhance knowledge of health as it relates to food and food products, dietary supplements, and behaviors associated with eating. While nutritional and botanical support have the potential to be an important factor in your overall wellbeing, nutrition counseling and consulting is not a substitute for a medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or care of disease by a licensed medical provider.
Any pertinent, personal medical data that you provide to your dietitian is not intended for the diagnosis of a disease state. Rather, personal medical information may be used in the formulation of an appropriate health-supportive plan, and to help monitor progress throughout an ongoing process of meeting success as it relates to your health.
Client Responsibilities
Clients of Next Nutrition are at the forefront of our process. Your goals are our goals, and we want to see you succeed. We would like for you, as our client, to be upfront and honest, to openly communicate, provide feedback, ask questions, and take an active role in your health and wellbeing.
Communication
Email, text message, our website chat features and even phone calls may not be confidential methods of communication. Fax or in-person conversation are the best ways to communicate personal information if you are concerned about the risk of technological communication. Virtual meetings are completed using Microsoft Teams, which is an encrypted videoconferencing platform. The Next Nutrition team typically checks email daily; however, we cannot guarantee immediate response to email at this time. Therefore, email should not be used for urgent matters.
Please call 911 or visit the nearest emergency room if you feel unsafe or are experiencing a life-threatening emergency.
Scheduling, Cancellations, Rescheduling and No Shows and Late Appointments

There is a no-show fee of $25 for those who fail to cancel or reschedule in time. We have a 15-minute grace period for our appointment windows; however, if you are late your appointment end time will still be 45 minutes from the time your appointment was scheduled to start out of respect for other clients.
Fees, Payments and Financial Responsibility Agreement
Next Nutrition accepts payment in the form of cash, check or credit/debit card. Cash or check may be mailed (address by request), and credit/debit payments may be accepted online through our encrypted GoDaddy payment portal.
